A new year brings with it new styles, new trends, and new “ew, I can’t believe you wore that’s.” Don’t let the latter happen to you, get up to speed with these wardrobe must haves for 2009.

• Slim Fitting Dark Jeans – Not those stretch jeans both “men” and women donned in 2008. I am talking jeans that are just loose enough to be comfortable but don’t fall off, and certainly do not look like they are painted on. Solid dark blue and black denim make jeans dressed up enough to wear to the office and stylish enough to wear to the club. With jeans like those, you can sneak drinks at the bar on your lunch break :)







• Socially Conscious Graphic T-Shirts – In 2008 we watched politics become more popular then hip-hop and millions of people sporting everything from “Hope” buttons to “I hate Bush” trucker hats. In 2009 you can expect the aftermath to be filled with socially conscious and “politically fueled” fashion with t-shirts being at the forefront. I know I’ll be wearing my “I voted for the Black Half” T-Shirt on inauguration day, after that’s it’s right back to my “I Support the Draft” beer appreciation Tee.
